Care New England Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver cardiopulmonary care and support diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation across diverse conditions. The role involves ventilator management, airway clearance, and emergency interventions within a hospital setting.

The candidate will perform arterial blood gas analysis, patient education, and contribute to care planning and rounds, while documenting patient responses in the medical record.

Competenze

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• NBRC Certified Respiratory Therapist credential required; RRT preferred.
• RI Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• Minimum of six months related experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders, including aerosol medications and airway clearance.
• Provide ventilator management, monitoring, and weaning as part of patient care.
• Obtain arterial blood gases from radial artery and interpret results with physician input.
• Provide patient and family education and document therapy in medical records.
• Train staff and supervise in the absence of a supervisor.
