The role focuses on expanding our residential attic and crawlspace ventilation catalog while optimizing existing models, combining hands-on 3D modeling with plant-floor collaboration to move designs from concept to high-volume production.

You\'ll work with process engineers to troubleshoot tooling, measure airflow, and ensure compliance with building codes and hurricane zone requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD tools (Inventor/SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication and plastics injection molding.

Responsibilities

• Develop new residential attic and crawlspace ventilation products.
• Model and refine ventilation product lines for NPD.
• Create production prints for stamped aluminum and steel parts.
• Maintain tolerances and DFMA considerations in designs.
• Design plastic-molded parts and cosmetic components.
• Collaborate with process engineers on tooling and materials.
• Build prototypes and test airflow and weatherproofing performance.
• Document specifications for regulatory submissions and codes.
• Ensure designs meet extreme load environments and regional regulations.
