Job summary

NELBUD is seeking an hourly Technical position in Elkridge, MD, offering a third shift with evenings and overnights based on service calls. The role involves maintenance on hood ventilators and related equipment, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive health benefits.

We look for candidates with a basic understanding of mechanical maintenance, the ability to work independently, and experience with air quality ventilation systems. A valid driver’s license and rooftop access are required.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of mechanical maintenance principles.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service jobs.
• Knowledge or experience in changing filters and inspecting control systems of air quality ventilation systems.
• Valid driver’s license – company truck provided.
• Ability to work evenings and nights.
• Access to and ability to work in small spaces and at heights (rooftops).

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on hood ventilators and company equipment.
• Inspect ventilation components for damage, unusual wear, or airflow issues.
• Clean and maintain the filter housing and equipment during filter replacement.
• Maintain records, service reports, and other job-related paperwork.
• Provide exceptional customer service while representing NELBUD.
