Job summary

Confidential in Fort Lauderdale seeks an experienced Sourcing & Vendor Manager to strengthen its sourcing and vendor management function. You will manage strategic vendor relationships, support contract negotiations, mitigate risk, and improve processes across the lifecycle.

You’ll partner with Legal, Finance, Security, Compliance, and Procurement, lead contract renewals and SOWs, RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs, and help implement efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in sourcing, vendor management, procurement, or related area.
• Strong contract lifecycle management and negotiation skills.
• Experience with technology or IT-related vendor agreements preferred.
• Experience across software, hardware, consulting, services, and communications.
• Collaborative with Legal, Procurement, Security, Compliance, Finance, Tax, Accounts Payable, and other functions.
• Familiarity with IT concepts and systems.

• Manage relationships with key vendors and internal partners, including senior leadership.
• Support development of sourcing and vendor management processes and frameworks.

• Partner on SOWs, RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.

• Help establish negotiation strategies, workflows, and vendor management processes.
• Support commercial and financial arrangements with vendors, including billing and remedies.
• Identify contractual and vendor risks and drive mitigation.
• Improve consistency and efficiency across the sourcing lifecycle.

We’re looking for an experienced Sourcing & Vendor Manager to join a growing organization and play an important role in strengthening its sourcing and vendor management function.

This position will work across the business to manage strategic vendor relationships, support contract negotiations, mitigate risk, and improve processes throughout the vendor lifecycle. You’ll partner with business leaders, technical teams, and key functions including Legal, Finance, Security, Compliance, and Procurement.

Your Impact

In this role, you will:

• Manage relationships with key vendors and internal business partners, including senior leadership.
• Support the continued development of sourcing and vendor management processes and frameworks.
• Lead and support contract renewals, extensions, amendments, and change orders.
• Partner with stakeholders on SOWs, RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, including documentation, obligations, deliverables, changes, and renewal timelines.
• Work closely with Legal on contract negotiations and appropriate contractual protections.
• Partner across Security, Compliance, Finance, Tax, Accounts Payable, HR, Procurement, and other functions to support vendor and regulatory requirements.
• Help establish and improve negotiation strategies, workflows, templates, and vendor management processes.
• Support commercial and financial arrangements with vendors, including billing, invoicing, performance incentives, and contractual remedies.
• Identify contractual and vendor-related risks and partner with stakeholders on mitigation strategies.
• Help drive greater consistency and efficiency across the overall sourcing and vendor management lifecycle.

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone with:

• 5–10 years of experience in sourcing, vendor management, procurement, contract management, or a related area.
• Strong experience negotiating and managing contracts throughout their lifecycle.
• Experience with technology or IT-related agreements is highly preferred.
• Experience managing contracts across areas such as software, hardware, consulting, services, and communications.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-management capabilities.
• Experience partnering with Legal, Procurement, Security, Compliance, Finance, Tax, Accounts Payable, and other business functions.
• Knowledge of procurement and vendor management practices.
• Familiarity with IT concepts and systems.
• Strong project and process management skills with the ability to manage multiple vendors, contracts, and priorities.
• Ability to evaluate contractual risk and collaborate with business partners on mitigation strategies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and technical teams.
• A service-oriented mindset and ability to build productive, long-term vendor and internal relationships.
• Experience utilizing generative AI or AI-enabled tools to enhance sourcing or vendor management activities.
