Job summary

Redner’s Markets, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Clerk to ensure efficient and accurate checking of all merchandise received at the back door, and to properly obtain credit for stale merchandise removed from the sales floor.

The role involves maintaining a Vendor Receiving Log, verifying deliveries against invoices, processing credits, checking in deliveries, handling damaged products, supporting inter-store transfers, and ensuring secure, accurate billing procedures in line with company policy.

Qualifications

• Ability to push or pull large skids of groceries.
• Strong organizational skills for proper filing of vendor invoices.

Responsibilities

• Check and verify all grocery receiving against vendor invoices.
• Maintain an accurate Vendor Receiving Log.
• Process credits according to company policy.
• Check in all deliveries from Redner’s.
• Handle damaged and spoiled product per policy and manage reclamation.
• Process all in-store transfers.
• Control vendor traffic through receiving doors.
• Follow Vendor Discrepancy Program procedures.
• Use Visitor Badge Program to maintain security.
• Assist in billing via Direct Store Delivery and post invoices.
• Maintain door seal log.
• Monitor for unauthorized presence in receiving area.
• Follow Employee Handbook policies.
