Qualifications

• Excellent customer service is required.
• Strong merchandising skills to present products effectively.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and peers.
• Basic math, including calculator use.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Collaborate as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude.
• Flexible with retail hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Make the customer the top priority.
• Educate customers to help them choose the best product.
• Maintain and recover the selling floor ensuring sizes/colors/styles are available.
• Promote events and merchandise assortments on the selling floor.
• Prepare fitting rooms and return brand-specific merchandise to the floor.
• Deliver a friendly and helpful customer experience.
• Drive department goals by executing Macy's initiatives for sales growth.
• Coordinate with vendors and managers for support on promotions and events.
• Follow safety and security policies and procedures.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
