Macy's is hiring a Vendor Paid Merchandise Selling Support Colleague to assist customers, apply product knowledge, and maintain selling floor presentations for a specific brand or vendor.

This role emphasizes delivering a memorable customer experience, enabling a neat, clean shopping environment, and partnering with vendors and store teams to drive sales and promotional events.

You will work full-time or part-time depending on business needs and be expected to provide dependable attendance.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong merchandising skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers and management.
• Basic math functions and ability to use a calculator.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Make the customer the top priority.
• Leverage product knowledge to increase sales by educating and assisting the customer in making the best choice.
• Assist with maintaining and recovering the selling floor, ensuring all sizes, colors and styles are available.
• Ensure appropriate selling floor presentation by promoting events and merchandise assortments.
• Ensure fitting rooms are customer-ready by promptly clearing brand-specific merchandise and returning it to the appropriate area on the selling floor.
• Exhibit friendly and helpful customer experience expectations.
• Drive and exceed department goals by executing Macy's initiatives to actively drive the business.
• Maintain communication with vendors and store leadership for support on driving sales and event promotions.
• Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures.
• Complete other customer-facing tasks as needed.
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
