The Vendor Relations team in our National Support Center (NSC) is looking for a Vender Operations Lead. This is a remote position.

About the Role:

You will:

  • Lead, develop, and execute comprehensive vendor operations strategies aligned with our operational priorities.

  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement and create or implement programs to enhance our market position and profitability. (e.g. Rebates, Systems & Program Training, Go-to-market Programs, etc.)
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with vendor agreements to maximize profitability and accuracy while mitigating risks.

  • Generate comprehensive reports on vendor performance (evaluation, onboarding, and measurement framework) trends, KPI’s for senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Serve as a liaison providing actionable insight to cross-functional national and local teams to enhance operational efficiency and revenue generation.
  • Actively communicate and educate Hajoca business units on vendor opportunities. Make sure information is fully disseminated and understood across profit centers.

  • Maintain strong, strategic relationships with key vendor partners to ensure alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental communications to enhance vendor operational effectiveness and responsiveness to business needs.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Sales, Purchasing, and Finance to align internal vendor operations with our operational objectives.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience in vendor management, purchasing, supply chain or related field.

  • Demonstrated experience in contracts management, performance metrics, and vendor operations.

  • Use Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel) to communicate via email, analyze data, and reporting creation.
  • Be able to interpret financial report data to determine success/failure of plans and to take appropriate action to adjust business plans ensuring success.

  • Build influential relationships and trust with customers and key vendor partners through open and interactive communication.
  • Have deep industry knowledge and strong strategic thinking mindset

  • Demonstrate excellent problem solving and analytical skills; impeccable business judgment
  • Demonstrate deep product knowledge to answer customer questions and identify opportunities to upsell or cross sell.

  • Be able to build positive working relationships and inspire teamwork with co-workers.
  • Possess excellent communication and listening skills, able to persuade.

  • Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used for business operations.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
