Summary: The Vendor Management Representative will provide critical support across multiple corporate functions, ensuring smooth operations and effective coordination between departments. This role is responsible for maintaining and administrating the vendor management program for the organization. Additionally, this role combines administrative assistance with project management, safety & security, and general corporate support functions to enhance organizational efficiency.
This job operates in a professional office environment in a hybrid work arrangement consisting of at least 20% required in office time. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and filing cabinets.
This is an active role, requiring the ability to stand, bend, stoop and move around part of the day. Must be able to lift to 40 lbs. Hand dexterity is needed for keyboarding. Must be able to move from one area to another throughout one-floor office layout. Stairs and elevators provided for movement from one floor to another and to enter and exit buildings. Must be able to operate general office equipment such as copier, printer, fax machine, scanner, phone, hole puncher, and stapler, as well as mailroom equipment.
This position requires some travel, predominantly within Belco's field of membership over a seven-county footprint.
A High School Diploma with a minimum of 2 years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory roles.
A two-year College Degree in Business Administration or Management. A Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager (CRVPM) certification or the ability to acquire such certification would be beneficial.
Good organizational, time management and attention-to-detail skills.
Leadership skills with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization.
