Airgas is seeking a Vendor Technician in Binghamton, NY to service key vending accounts and manage inventory of gases and safety products. The role includes basic troubleshooting and repairs of vending systems and ensuring stock levels are maintained across multiple locations.

You will travel daily in a company vehicle to local customer sites, perform deliveries, and support inventory replenishment while adhering to Airgas safety guidelines.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid US driver’s license.
• At least 21 years old.
• Must have prior inventory management, customer service, sales and/or PC help desk related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Delivery and replenishment to customers of various industrial products and vending machine or storeroom items.
• Performs basic troubleshooting and repairs mechanical vending systems as needed.
• Reviews manual stock levels of various inventories at multiple plant departments for reorder.
• Maintains dedicated branch inventory levels for proper replenishment.
• Tracks and turns in delivery tickets and consignment fill tickets.

• Pay Range: $22-24/hr

• Shift Time: 1st shift, Monday-Friday

• Travel: Daily travel to local customer sites in a company vehicle

The Vendor Technician delivers and services key vending account customers and customer cabinets/storerooms relative to inventory of gases, consumables and safety products. Additionally, this position does basic troubleshooting and mechanical repairs as needed. This position focuses on servicing existing accounts throughout an assigned territory.

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Required.

• Must have a valid US driver’s license.

• At least 21 years old.

• Must have prior inventory management, customer service, sales and/or PC help desk related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in product distribution or inventory management.

• Experience with welding and safety products or related industrial products a plus.

• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) or Google Suite.

• Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing; listens effectively and clarifies information as needed.

• Ability to problem solve and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

• Lives by Airgas safety programs, OSHA, and all related rules, regulations, procedures which are applicable to this position’s responsibilities.

• Able to lift 30 pounds

• Mechanically and technologically competent
