Job summary

Canteen is hiring a Route Driver to deliver products and maintain vending equipment on a fixed local route in Modesto, CA. You will be the face of the company, ensuring a professional image and providing excellent customer service while building client relationships.

The role offers advancement opportunities in a fast-paced environment with full-time hours and competitive pay. Training is provided to operate or learn necessary equipment, and you may be eligible for commission in some routes.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience
• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver’s license
• Preferred 1–2 years in customer service or 1 year related experience
• Proficient with handheld computer; training provided
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently
• Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.)
• Able to work independently and supervise own route 98% of the day

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at client locations.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Inform regular clients about new products or services, listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales materials to customers.
• Accountable for all receipts of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected and product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
