Job summary

Canteen is hiring for a full-time Route Driver - Utility in Grover Beach, CA. This role involves delivering and selling products on a company route, collecting money, and ensuring machines are stocked and serviced properly.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with training available and a possibility of commission eligibility. A valid driver’s license is required; vending experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Previous vending experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drives company truck on established route to deliver and sell products.
• Operates route on a scheduled basis, maintains stock and displays.
• Collects money from machines and makes change as needed.
• Records transactions and ensures accuracy of cash and product.
• Contacts customers to ensure service adequacy and informs them of new products and services.
• Performs routine maintenance and sanitation of machines.
• Unloads/loads merchandise and prepares order forms for food and pastry products.
