Job summary

NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) in Panama City, FL seeks a vending operative to maintain and replenish machines, ensure freshness and health compliance, and set prices on items sold.

You will drive to multiple locations, load/unload stock, verify deliveries, and document servicing with a handheld device while handling cash per procedures. The role requires physical effort and reliability.

Qualifications

• Two years total experience in duties related to vending/retail operations.
• One year stocking, merchandise transfers, receiving and merchandising.
• High school education may substitute for part of general experience.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and operate a vehicle safely.
• Pass background checks and the GSA defensive driving course.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Exchange machines daily, replenishes items, and checks health codes.
• Loads/unloads stock, requisitions items, rotates inventory, verifies deliveries.
• Operates vending service equipment and records servicing with handheld device.
• Collects cash, follows cash handling procedures, and maintains machine area cleanliness.
• Loads, unloads and transports merchandise and maintains positive customer relations.
