Job summary

Canteen is hiring a full-time SERVICE TECHNICIAN in Wilmington, NC. You will repair, maintain, and install vending machines and equipment, responding to service requests using a company vehicle. The role includes inspecting machines, resolving issues, and assisting with installations.

Willing to train, with a quarterly bonus potential and an internal referral bonus program. Located at 3008 Orville Wright Way, Wilmington, NC 28405; online applications accepted only.

Qualifications

• Previous vending experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company-owned vehicle.
• Calls on existing customers to determine adequacy of service; listens to and resolves service complaints.
• Inspects machines to determine causes of malfunctions; dismantles machines to access problem area.
• Inspects parts for wear, misalignment or other problems; replaces worn/defective parts; tests machine operation after repair.
• Maintains inventory; ships/receives machines; orders parts as needed.
• Prepares machines for installation at accounts; assists in installations and removals.
• Sets up and operates mechanical equipment and small hand tools for machine repair.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
