Job summary

American Food & Vending seeks a Refreshment Mechanic to ensure vending machines and beverage dispensers operate at peak performance. You will order parts, keep service records, and perform installations and maintenance across locations.

The role requires 3+ years' experience with POS or Kiosk systems, basic microprocessor knowledge, and the ability to lift 40+ lbs. A valid driver's license is required. Training and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience with POS or Kiosk preferred.
• Technical knowledge of microprocessors, integrated circuits, robotics, and automated functions.
• Lifting, bending, walking, driving, climbing stairs; able to lift 40+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and install vending machines and beverage dispensers for water and coffee.
• Perform routine checks on motors, keypads, and equipment to ensure top quality.
• Maintain vending inventories, order repair parts and keep service records.
• Connect water pipes and electrical wires; ensure installations meet codes and standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance; clean and oil machine parts and adjust gauges and thermostats.
• Respond to service calls with preliminary surveys; use diagnostic tools to locate issues.
