Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Full-time Service Technician to join our Butler, PA branch. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing vending and merchandising equipment within an assigned territory, with a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
Experience in repair of automated vending or merchandising equipment or small appliances preferred.
Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
Technical ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and make appropriate repairs.
Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and customers.
Valid Driver's License (CDL not required) and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

Install new equipment at client locations within a designated area.
Educate the client on how to effectively use new equipment.
Execute minor vending equipment repairs.
Remove outdated and unused equipment.
Test vending equipment to ensure proper function.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on vending and merchandising equipment.
Build and maintain client and customer relationships.
Order parts needed to complete repairs.
Fix vending machines and kiosks through an assigned territory.
Assist with install of machines and routes.
