Job summary

Bon Appétit Management Company, part of Compass Group USA, is hiring for a full-time VENDING ATTENDANT at 1455 Third Street, San Francisco, CA 94158. The role requires prior vending and food/beverage service experience and involves stocking machines, processing transactions, and keeping systems updated at a client site.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided, with applications accepted online.

Qualifications

• Previous food/beverage service and vending experience is required.
• Must be able to operate vending machines and handle cash.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Receives delivery of various items at customer's place of business.
• Stocks shelves or racks in vending machines and coolers; collects stale, rejected or unsold merchandise; collects money from machines, and refills bill and coin changers.
• Records transactions on appropriate card and/or electronic device.
• Is accountable for cash and product.
• Calls on existing customers to determine adequacy of service.
• Prepares order forms for food and pastry products.
• Informs regular customers of new products or services.
• Listens to and resolves service complaints.
• Performs routine maintenance on and sanitation of machines; maintains clean storeroom and vending area.
• Sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issues sales promotion materials to customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
