Job summary

Canteen North America is hiring for a full-time VENDING ATTENDANT in El Segundo, CA. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Prior customer service and restocking experience are required. Pay ranges from $20.10 to $22.10 per hour, with opportunities to grow within a national program.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Restocking experience preferred.
• Ability to operate vending machine systems and make change.

Responsibilities

• Receives delivery of items to the customer location.
• Stocks vending machines and coolers; handles cash and machine change.
• Records transactions on the appropriate device or system.
• Responsible for cash and product accountability.
• Contacts existing customers to assess service adequacy and informs about new products.
• Prepares order forms for food and pastry products.
• Investigates and resolves service complaints from customers.
• Maintains cleaning and sanitation of machines and storeroom.
• Sets up merchandise and promotional displays and distributes sales materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Provides vending products and services at a single location. Collects money from machines and makes change.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receives delivery of various items, including soft drinks, bakery products, specialty foods, snack items and sundries at customer's place of business.
• Stocks shelves or racks in vending machines and coolers; collects stale, rejected or unsold merchandise; collects money from machines, and refills bill and coin changers.
• Records transactions on appropriate card and/or electronic device.
• Is accountable for cash and product.
• Calls on existing customers to determine adequacy of service.
• Prepares order forms for food and pastry products.
• Informs regular customers of new products or services.
• Listens to and resolves service complaints.
• Performs routine maintenance on and sanitation of machines; maintains clean storeroom and vending area.
• Sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issues sales promotion materials to customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
