Mobile Communications America, Inc. (MCA) is seeking an experienced Vehicle Installer in Georgetown, Texas to support our MSS division. You will connect electrical fittings, install wiring and antennas, and modify vehicles to accept emergency-related equipment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of technical experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Basic knowledge of installing systems/equipment in vehicles (2-way radios, lighting, cameras, GPS, sirens).
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and perform wiring installations.

Responsibilities

• Connect electrical fittings, drill holes, solder, and modify vehicles for equipment upfits.
• Install wiring, antennas, data/power cabling, and various electrical connectors.
• Disassemble/reassemble interior components to route wiring and install equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues as needed.
• Complete installations across a range of vehicle types (sedans, SUVs, trucks, buses, motorcycles, ATVs).
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and proper tool organization.
• Learn new products and techniques from team members and manufacturers.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain confidentiality of service information.
