Road & Rail Services is seeking Vehicle Unloaders in Pearland, TX. This full-time outdoor role involves safely unloading new automobiles from railroad cars, driving them to designated staging areas, and inspecting for damage.

The job requires climbing ladders, working around equipment, and complying with safety procedures to ensure efficient asset handling. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour, with benefits including health insurance, retirement plan with company matching, paid holidays, boot

Qualifications

• Must have valid state-issued driver's license.
• Ability to safely operate automatic-transmission vehicles.
• Comfortable climbing railcar ladders up to 16 feet.
• Able to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and weather changes.
• Strong attention to detail when handling and inspecting new vehicles.
• Willingness to work outdoors on-site and around equipment.

Responsabilités

• Safely unload new automobiles from railroad cars using designated ramps and procedures.
• Drive vehicles to staging areas while following facility traffic rules.
• Inspect vehicles for visible damage and report concerns before/after movement.
• Maintain proper vehicle spacing and parking instructions to prevent damage.
• Climb railcar ladders and work at heights up to 16 feet.
• Enter and exit vehicles frequently during shift.
• Communicate vehicle damage, equipment concerns, or unsafe conditions.
