Job summary

LaFontaine Automotive Group is hiring an Automotive Driver to transport company vehicles, documents, and supplies, run errands, and pickup/deliver customers to and from the dealership. The role emphasizes safe vehicle operation, customer courtesy, and efficient vehicle movement within and between dealerships.

Qualified candidates have a valid driver’s license, a clean MVR, and strong problem-solving and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Current, Valid, Driver’s license; satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) required.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Operates a passenger van safely and efficiently.
• Responds to requests from dispatch or management for scheduled and unscheduled pick-ups or drop-offs.
• Assists passengers in boarding and exiting vehicle.
• Inspects exterior and interior of vehicle at beginning of each shift for safe operation.
• Ensures inside and outside of vehicle are cleaned and fueled.
• Keeps interior of vehicle neat and orderly.
• Completes driver sheet for each shift with trip details.
• Treats guests and customers in a courteous, professional manner.
• Move vehicles within the dealership and between dealerships.
• Pick up customer vehicles and transport back to the dealership.
• Organize vehicle inventory around the dealership.
• Performs other related duties as requested.
