Job summary

LaFontaine Automotive Group is hiring an Automotive Driver to transport company vehicles, documents, and customers for pickup and drop-off at the Grand Rapids dealership. The role requires safe operation of a passenger van and courteous service to guests.

The driver will perform pre-shift vehicle checks, maintain cleanup and fueling, and record trip details for each shift, while supporting dispatch and management as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable MVR.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Problem-solving skills and good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Operates a passenger van safely and efficiently.
• Responds to dispatch or management requests for pickups/drop-offs.
• Assists passengers in boarding and exiting the vehicle.
• Inspects vehicle before each shift for safety and operation.
• Keeps interior and exterior of vehicle clean and fueled.
• Records trip details accurately on the driver sheet.
• Treats guests with courtesy and professionalism.
• Move vehicles within the dealership and between dealerships.
• Pick up customer vehicles and transport back to the dealership.
