Job summary

Sonic Automotive, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented titles administrator to manage title corrections, lien payoff actions, and ACH workflows across dealer locations. You will verify documents, load units, and reconcile accounts while supporting multiple Sonic locations and vendors.

The role requires strong data entry, Microsoft Office skills, and basic dealership operations knowledge. A high school diploma and ability to pass pre-employment testing are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CDK a plus, dealership accounting preferred.
• Strong Excel, MS Office skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, email and verbal communication.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• 1–3 years of auction/wholesale experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Able to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license.
• Experience within an Automotive dealership operations office.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Flexible schedule including some Saturdays and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Track and coordinate title corrections due to lost titles, POA, lien releases, statements of facts, etc.
• Track auction purchases/sales and bill stores via ACH.
• Wholesale title and sister store reassignments.
• Resolve lien payoff discrepancies.
• Reviews, approves and initiates payment for lien payoffs.
• Organize all paperwork, check for completeness (verify VIN, cost, year, etc.).
• Load units into the corresponding dealer location.
• Reconcile select accounts and schedules weekly.
• Post manual journal entries and other postings as required.
• Post invoices, prepare checks, and issue online payments.
• Provide administrative support to management, other Sonic locations, vendors, and staff.
