Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Level 3 qualified vehicle mechanic for its Uxbridge Workshop on a permanent contract. You’ll join a large fleet operation, working full-time with overtime potential that can push earnings up to £60,000 per year.

You will inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair a variety of vehicles and equipment, using your own toolkit and accessing specialist tools in our modern workshops. Pension benefits and training support are provided.

Qualifications

• IMI Level 3 qualification in light or heavy vehicles.
• Own toolkit for standard repairs.
• Experience with a wide range of vehicles (LCV/HGV).
• Manual UK driving licence (preferably HGV with trailer).

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on vehicles, trailers and equipment.
• Use personal toolkit for routine maintenance and repairs on light/heavy vehicles.
• Access specialist tooling and shared equipment in modern workshops.
