Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles across engines, brakes, steering, and suspension in a climate-controlled facility. You’ll work with a collaborative team, use advanced tools, and receive ongoing training to advance your skills and grow with CarMax.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.
• Maintain ASE Certifications where required by state/local law.
