Job description
Overview

We are Lockheed Martin. This position reports to the Pax River Air Vehicle Engineering Lead and is primarily focused on F-35 Mission Systems Anechoic Chamber testing at Pax River. Secondary foci include weapons engineering and any other LM program chamber entries. The role will be a subject matter expert in mission systems with technical oversight for the site for chamber tactical and strategic planning and test execution. The selectee will be a technical resource for Pax Air Mission Systems and Weapons engineers, responsible for the technical integrity of site processes and training for chamber, and will be a technical interface for the site to outside entities for chamber. The selectee will drive fundamental systems engineering practices across the Pax engineering team.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a technical resource and SME for Pax River Mission Systems and Weapons engineering related to chamber testing and planning.
  • Provide technical oversight for chamber testing planning and execution, including tactical and strategic aspects.
  • Maintain technical integrity of site processes and lead training for chamber operations.
  • Interface with external entities regarding chamber activities and ensure alignment with program goals.
  • Apply fundamental systems engineering practices across the Pax engineering team.
Qualifications
  • Basic Qualifications: Experience in Electronic Warfare, Weapons Integration, Command, Navigation & Identification (CNI), Radar, F-35, and anechoic RF chamber testing. Must be able to obtain Special Access Program.

Desired skills
  • Experience with the F-35 Enterprise, including Test & Evaluation, Fort Worth, Edwards, Pax River ITF, JPO, and strategic planning across a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Experience working with platforms besides F-35.
