Job summary

ManpowerGroup's Experis unit is hiring a System Integration and Test Engineer in Foster City, CA to support vehicle performance testing and reliability efforts. You will conduct integration testing at HIL benches and on-vehicle to evaluate system performance, and document results using JIRA and Confluence.

You should have a BS in Electrical Engineering and 6–8 years in vehicle system development with CAN/LIN/Ethernet, and hands-on skills with Vector CanAlyzer, ETAS INCA, DMM and oscilloscopes.

Qualifications

• BS or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in vehicle system development and testing roles.
• Experience with vehicle electrical architecture and automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
• Proficiency with instrumentation and data acquisition tools like Vector CanAlyzer, ETAS INCA, and others.
• Hands-on electrical troubleshooting skills, including use of DMM, Oscilloscope, and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct integration testing at HIL Test Bench and vehicle levels to evaluate system performance under various conditions.
• Analyze data to identify potential risks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement mitigation strategies.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements, including controls and diagnostics monitoring.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of testing processes and results using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Drive issue resolution for complex system integration problems encountered during vehicle testing and fleet operations.
