Atoms is seeking a Vehicle Installation Technician to prep vehicles for deployment by following standardized installation procedures for advanced tech systems. You will install, mount, and validate hardware on vehicles with precision, safety, and adherence to documented processes.

The role demands strong mechanical aptitude, detail orientation, and the ability to read instructions. Based in our San Francisco office, the position involves hands-on work with vehicles and components every day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with hardware assembly, installation, or mechanical work preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, diagrams, and assembly documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute documented installation procedures on assigned vehicles.
• Mount, align, and secure component groups per engineering specs.
• Route wiring harnesses and connect electrical components with proper cable management.
• Power up systems and validate hardware functionality.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks throughout the installation process.
• Document completed work and communicate issues to supervisors or engineering teams.
• Follow SOPs and established workflows without deviation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies.
