DFW Lube Ventures LLC is seeking a State Inspector / Quick Lube Technician for full-time, in-person work across the DFW area. You will perform Texas state inspections, assist with quick lube services, and recommend maintenance to keep vehicles moving through a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Texas State Inspector Certification is preferred; we pay for the class for non-certified applicants.

Responsibilities

• Perform Texas state inspections in accordance with DPS regulations.
• Complete inspections accurately and honestly, in compliance with state requirements.
• Identify and recommend maintenance based on inspection findings and manufacturer recommendations.
• Promote preventative maintenance services (oil changes, filters, batteries, fluids, wipers, lights).
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and management.
• Explain inspection findings and service recommendations when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow company procedures and safety standards.
• Work efficiently in a high-volume quick lube and automotive repair environment.
• Work outdoors and around the shop in heat, cold, rain, and normal conditions.

State Inspector / Quick Lube Technician

DFW Lube Ventures LLC, a rapidly expanding Quick Lube and Automotive Repair company in the DFW area, is hiring motivated State Inspectors and Quick Lube Technicians for multiple locations.

We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who understand vehicle inspections, preventative maintenance, and how to work in a fast-paced automotive shop. State Inspector experience is preferred, but we are willing to pay for the class for qualified individuals who are not currently certified.

This is not a sit-behind-a-desk job. This position requires working in and around the shop throughout the day. Applicants must be comfortable working outside and in shop conditions, including Texas heat, cold weather, rain, and other changing weather conditions.

Position Overview

As a State Inspector / Quick Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing Texas state inspections, assisting with quick lube services, recommending needed maintenance, and helping keep vehicles moving through the shop efficiently.

You will work closely with our service advisors, technicians, and management team to provide accurate inspections, quality service, and a strong customer experience.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Texas State Inspector Certification is preferred.

We will pay for the State Inspector class for qualified non-certified applicants.

Previous vehicle inspection, quick lube, or automotive maintenance experience is strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of Texas DPS inspection regulations is a plus.

Must be detail-oriented and committed to accuracy and safety.

Must be dependable, on time, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be comfortable working outdoors and around an active automotive shop.

Must be able to communicate well with team members and customers.

Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when needed.
