Job summary

Road & Rail Services, Inc. is hiring for a full-time Night Shift Vehicle Shuttle Driver in Houston, TX. You will transport new vehicles within the facility, following safety procedures and site rules. Training is provided; no CDL or prior automotive logistics experience is required. A valid license and at least three years of driving experience are needed.

The role keeps you active, outdoors, and part of a collaborative team focused on efficient vehicle movements and production support.

Responsibilities

• Drive new vehicles between parking, staging, and processing areas.

What You'll Do on Night Shift

As a Vehicle Shuttle Driver, you'll help keep automotive operations moving by safely transporting new vehicles throughout the facility.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

Drive new vehicles between designated parking, staging, and processing areas.

Park and position vehicles accurately according to assigned locations.

Follow site traffic patterns, speed limits, and vehicle handling procedures.

Inspect vehicles for visible damage or other concerns before movement.

Report vehicle damage, equipment issues, and unsafe conditions immediately.

Maintain accurate vehicle locations and follow inventory tracking instructions.

Work closely with team leads and other drivers to complete assigned vehicle movements.

Safely enter and exit vehicles repeatedly throughout the shift.

Follow all company and customer safety procedures.

Assist with other operational duties as needed to support production goals.

Minimum Requirements:

Valid state-issued driver's license.

Vehicle Shuttle Drivers work in an active automotive logistics facility and spend much of their shift outdoors.
