Job Title: Vehicle Shuttle Driver/Lot Porter
Department: Market Operations (Field)
Employee Type: Part Time, Non-Exempt
Compensation: $18/HR

The Vehicle Shuttle Driver/Lot Porter plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of vehicles within our operations. This individual will be responsible for vehicle movements between locations, maintaining lot organization, and supporting the service and fleet teams with vehicle readiness. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely transport vehicles between Flexcar locations, service centers, vendors, and auxiliary lot sites.
• Ensure proper staging and organization of vehicles at the lot to maximize efficiency.
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections before and after transport, noting any damages or maintenance needs.
• Assist with inbound and outbound vehicle transportation carrier processes as needed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly lot and member facing area, ensuring vehicles are properly parked and accessible, and area is free of trash and debris.
• Follow all company safety protocols and local traffic laws to ensure safe operation at all times.
• Provide support for vehicle swaps and emergency transports as required.
• Communicate effectively with concierge, service, and fleet teams to coordinate vehicle movements.

What Drives Success for this Role:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a variety of vehicles, including sedans, SUVs, and light-duty trucks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Prior experience in vehicle transport, lot operations, rental car services, or automotive industry preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, walking, sitting, driving, and standing for extended periods.
