Job summary

Enterprise Truck Rental Division is hiring for a Full Time Vehicle Service Attendant in Charlotte, NC. You will clean, detail, and perform light maintenance on a diverse fleet of Medium-Duty trucks, ensuring high service levels and well-maintained vehicles.

The position pays $16 per hour with a schedule of Sunday off and a Mon–Fri 7:00am–5:00pm, plus a Saturday 9:00am–1:00pm shift (occasional). Benefits include PTO, health and retirement plans, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions in the past 5 years.
• 6 months work experience required; box trucks experience a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Clean vehicle interior and exterior and also clean windshields, windows, mats, etc.
• Drive various vehicles safely and efficiently while on and off the lot and during local deliveries and related duties
• Check and maintain fluid levels on all vehicles
• Notify manager of any potential unsafe equipment, conditions and vehicle problems
• Perform basic maintenance such as tire pressure, check fluids, replace marker lights, the lift gate, etc.
• Keep work area, tools, and equipment organized and in clean and working condition
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance
