GSP Transportation is hiring for a Vehicle Service Agent- Airport in North Charleston, SC. This full-time role services and inspects rental vehicles, transports customers between locations, maintains logs, and keeps the service area organized.

The position emphasizes accurate vehicle prep, team collaboration, and a customer-focused approach with on-site work at the airport rental center.

Qualifications

• Must show proof of a valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Basic computer skills including data entry, typing, and familiarity with Word/Excel

Responsibilities

• Clean and service rental vehicles for customer use
• Review the inspection checklist to ensure vehicles are properly prepared
• Transport customers to and from the rental center as required
• Deliver vehicles to appropriate locations as directed
• Maintain the service area, equipment, tools, and cleaning supplies
• Maintain gas logs and other logs as requested by management

Vehicle Service Agent- Airport

Full Time Manual Labor North Charleston, SC, US

Position Summary

The Vehicle Service Agent is responsible for servicing and inspecting rental vehicles for customer use, transporting vehicles from the service area to customer pick-up, maintaining gas logs, and keeping the work area clean.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service rental vehicles for customer use
• Review the inspection checklist to ensure vehicles are properly prepared
• Transport customers to and from the rental center as required
• Deliver vehicles to appropriate locations as directed
• Maintain the service area, equipment, tools, and cleaning supplies
• Maintain gas logs and other logs as requested by management
• Inspect and park cars as directed
• Perform related duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

Required

• Must show proof of a valid driver’s license and satisfactory (Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Must be 21 years of age or have a driver's license for 3 years
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills, including data entry, typing, and some experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to complete tasks with precision, speed, and a positive attitude
• Ability to work well with a team
• Customer service and sales orientation
• Passion for helping others
• High school diploma or equivalent

Management Responsibilities

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. This position reports to the Counter Supervisor and Location Manager.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting, working on a computer, twisting, bending, and walking; getting in and out of vehicles, driving, and inspecting vehicles
