CarMax is hiring a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles, from engines to suspensions, in a climate-controlled shop. You’ll work with a skilled team to quickly solve technical challenges and gain hands-on experience with domestic and foreign cars.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Requires a valid driver’s license.
• Where required by state/local law, ASE Certifications listed (A4, A5, A7, A6, A1, A3, A8, A2).
