Job summary

Carvana is seeking an Automotive Supervisor to lead hourly associates in an Inspection Center, driving production targets and maintaining quality standards. The role emphasizes coaching, safety, and clear communication while upholding Carvana values in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a high school diploma (or GED), computer familiarity, and a valid driver's license. It is a full-time on-site role with opportunities to mentor a team and contribute to continuous process

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience using computers.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage movement of cars into/out of the Inspection Center safely and meet production/quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals daily, weekly, monthly.
• Oversee day-to-day team activities; identify strengths/weaknesses; plan improvements.
• Coach and develop team; provide feedback and guidance.
• Foster a constructive work environment aligned with Carvana values.
• Communicate expectations and performance measures clearly to team.
• Resolve conflicts among team members.
• Ensure adherence to systems, policies, and standards.
• Review mechanical/physical defects of incoming inventory for quality.
• Lead production associates; coordinate with GM on repairs or rejections based on costs/quality.
• Train team using Quality Control standards to minimize re-checks and delays.
• Maintain safety to prevent injuries; follow PPE requirements.
• Delegate tasks effectively and manage multiple associates.
