Job summary

Altoona PA in Elkins, WV is seeking a dedicated Reconditioning Technician to turn used vehicles into showroom-quality. You will inspect, perform paint touch-ups, minor bodywork, and detail interiors and exteriors to dealership standards.

You will replace worn parts, maintain tools, and coordinate with Service & Sales to present vehicles at their best. This full-time role offers competitive pay based on experience and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in detailing, reconditioning, or minor repairs.
• Attention to detail essential.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Able to work independently or in a team.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and identify required cosmetic repairs.
• Perform paint touch-ups, minor bodywork, dent removal, and scratch repairs.
• Detail interiors and exteriors to dealership standards.
• Replace or repair worn parts such as trim, molding, lights.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a clean, safe workspace.
• Assist with vehicle inspections and report reconditioning progress.
• Collaborate with Service & Sales to enhance vehicle presentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
