Advantage Technical in Wayne, MI is seeking a Vehicle Quality Engineer to address vehicle quality and warranty concerns at a leading automotive facility. This hands-on role requires troubleshooting, data analysis, and collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of engineering, quality, manufacturing, or automotive experience.
• Experience with Six Sigma methodologies.
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Experience with CAD, Teamcenter, WERS, or similar engineering systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve vehicle quality and warranty concerns.
• Lead root cause analysis using Six Sigma, 8D, and 5 Why methodologies.
• Analyze warranty claims, quality data, and field reports to identify trends.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support supplier quality improvements and manufacturing quality initiatives.
• Coordinate plant trials and validation activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams.
• Assist with product launches, quality reviews, and continuous improvement projects.
• Utilize engineering systems and technical tools to support issue resolution.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
