Job summary

Southeast Toyota Distributors, LLC is seeking a Functional Technician to perform functionality tests and align components on vehicles to meet operating requirements. You will complete Pre-Delivery Service inspections, install wheel covers and mats, and collaborate with Quality Inspectors to ensure vehicles are ready for sale.

The role requires good communication, the ability to lift 75 pounds, and flexibility for overtime or weekend work.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical or automotive experience preferred, and working knowledge of installation tools.
• Able to lift 75 pounds independently and stand for extended periods.
• Be quality minded, detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.
• Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to cross-train for other positions in the Vehicle Processing Center.

Responsibilities

• Complete Pre-Delivery Service (PDS) inspection of vehicles, including final checks for readiness for sale.
• Install wheel covers and mats as required.
• Work closely with Quality Inspectors.
• Perform special assignments as requested by management.
• Care for tools furnished by SETIP.
• Process and ship Final vehicles on a daily basis.
