Job summary

JM Family Enterprises, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Process Manufacturing Engineer to develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes for safe, efficient, scalable vehicle production.

You will collaborate with production leadership, engineering, and product development to ensure process readiness, capacity alignment, and continuous improvement across new and existing operations, including launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related discipline) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience collaborating with supervisors, production teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; proactive and self-directed.
• Strong communication skills to influence and engage leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); pivot tables advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyze manufacturing processes to identify issues and risks; recommend solutions.
• Drive problem-solving and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide engineering support for vehicle processing operations, including new product launches and ramp-ups.
• Maintain and update production documents governing layout, workflow, and system configurations.
• Support capacity planning, layout redesigns, and expansion efforts to meet targets.
• Coordinate production-related documentation for new product launches.
