Job summary

Cox Automotive in Ohio seeks an imaging assistant to capture and upload high-quality exterior and interior vehicle photos using Samsung S25 Ultra. You will drive vehicles through our Fixed Imaging Tunnel, photograph inside the Photo Booth, and re-image any substandard shots, ensuring safety throughout every step.

The role is outdoors, weather-exposed, with compensation in the $15.10–$22.69/hour range and benefits including paid time off and holidays. Authorized US work status required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred; 2 years of related work experience or less.
• Valid driver's license required; ability to operate automatic and manual transmission.
• Ability to inspect vehicles from various positions and in confined spaces.

Job description

• Capture and upload quality exterior and interior images of vehicles with Samsung S25 Ultra prior to and after detail cleans vehicles.
• Drive vehicles through our Fixed Imaging Tunnel to capture exterior images.
• Capture images of vehicles inside the Photo Booth following standard operating procedures.
• Re-imaging of any substandard images.
• Jump-start vehicles with provided equipment.
• Demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• OR less than 2 years of related work experience.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Ability to inspect vehicles from various positions, including underneath and within confined spaces.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, or kneel.
• Vision abilities required include close, distance, color vision, and depth perception.

Work Environment:

• This is an outside position with exposure to the weather elements of Ohio.

USD 15.10 - 22.69 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $15.10 - $22.69/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
