Highland Rivers Behavioral Health offers residential services for individuals with substance use disorders. The Vehicle Operator helps support the individuals in their recovery by providing needed transportation to activities within the community such as doctor appointments, job interviews, court proceedings, etc.

Responsabilités

• Maintain log of vehicle use, routes, and maintenance.
• Operate motor vehicles to transport individuals to and from various appointments.
• Maintain a high level of encouragement and respect to all individuals being transported.
• Safely assist individuals as needed in and out of vehicles.
• Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles and record mileage, gas, cleaning and oil usage.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain log of vehicle use, routes, and maintenance
• Operate motor vehicles to transport individuals to and from various appointments.
• Maintain a high level of encouragement and respect to all individuals being transported.
• Safely assist individuals as needed in and out of vehicles.
• Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles and records mileage, gas, cleaning and oil usage
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• This program requires all female staff.
• Ability to deal with interruptions and changes in work priorities.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to drive and/or ride in a 15-passenger van.
• Criminal background check clearance, official academic transcripts, valid driver’s license/ID, drug screen, TB test, and an eligible 7-year Motor Vehicle Report.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
