Job summary

Nevada Pic A Part is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Movement Lead to support all vehicle movement functions in our auto salvage operations. This hands-on role includes training new employees, enforcing SOPs, and ensuring safety and compliance across yard operations.

The position is based at our Henderson, NV location and offers full-time hours. Pay ranges from $15 to $17 per hour, with benefits after the probation period and opportunities for growth within a dynamic recycling facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an automotive, salvage, or yard operations role.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong understanding of SOPs, vehicle processing, and yard safety procedures
• Ability to train and mentor team members effectively
• Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
• Must pass a background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee all vehicle movement and processing support functions
• Ensure all vehicle movements are completed safely and in compliance with SOPs
• Verify daily operations align with company safety and quality standards
• Train new team members on department procedures, equipment use, and safety practices
• Monitor and maintain all department tools and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition
• Conduct routine inspections of vehicles, tools, and work areas for compliance and safety
• Act as a point of contact between yard employees and management for vehicle processing
• Support inventory, staging, and dismantling preparation activities as needed
• Lead by example and promote a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork
