Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and two or more years of vehicle or machinery mechanic experience.
• Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
• Full knowledge of mechanic principles and safe operation of hand and power tools.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain a variety of automotive equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot using motor analyzers, pressure gauges, and factory manuals.
• Research and obtain quotes for parts; complete requisitions.
• Disassemble and overhaul engines, transmissions, and other assemblies.
• Replace worn parts, adjust brakes, perform wheel alignment, and wiring repairs.
• Maintain a productive and safe working environment per procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
