Job summary

Bidbus is seeking an experienced automotive acquisition professional to source pre-owned vehicles directly from private sellers. The role focuses on engaging sellers through Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and other online channels, converting leads into Bidbus listings, and maintaining a high-volume pipeline.

You will verify details like VIN, mileage, titles, and pricing, while building trust and overcoming objections to meet weekly and monthly acquisition goals.

Qualifications

• Proven private-party vehicle acquisition experience.
• Verifiable monthly acquisition or listing production.
• Strong experience using Facebook Marketplace and similar sourcing platforms.
• Strong automotive valuation, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
• Familiarity with CARFAX, AutoCheck, Kelley Blue Book, MMR, Black Book, or vAuto.
• Understanding of vehicle titles, liens, payoffs, and condition disclosures.
• Strong phone, text, and written communication skills.
• Competitive, organized, accountable, and results-driven.
• Comfortable working full-time from our Costa Mesa corporate office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent follow-up and manage a high-volume pipeline.
• Enter accurate seller and vehicle information into the CRM.
• Meet weekly and monthly acquisition and conversion goals.
• Track results by sourcing channel and continuously improve performance.

About the Role

Bidbus is hiring an experienced automotive acquisition professional to source pre-owned vehicles directly from private sellers.

This is not an entry-level BDC or traditional dealership sales role. We are looking for a high-performing producer with a proven track record of finding, engaging, and converting private sellers through Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, OfferUp, social media, and other online channels.

What You'll Do

• Source private-party vehicles through Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, OfferUp, social media, and online classifieds.

• Reach out to sellers by phone, text, and direct message.

• Build trust, uncover seller motivation, and overcome objections.

Compensation and Opportunity

• $2,000 monthly base during the initial 60-day ramp period.

• Uncapped commission for every completed vehicle acquisition.

• Estimated annual compensation of $72,000–$146,000 based on target production.

• Additional earning potential for exceptional producers.
