Job summary

Ketch-Kansas-Elks-Training-Center-For-the-Handicapped in Wichita, KS, is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance technician to upkeep and perform preventative maintenance on all vehicles. You will handle DOT and purchase documentation, use shop tools, and perform general repairs on brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.

The role requires a valid driver's license, steady experience, and availability Monday through Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma, GED, or verifiable work experience as a Vehicle Mechanic for at least three consecutive years.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• A minimum of one year vehicle mechanic work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on all KETCH vehicles.
• Process DOT and purchase documentation.
• Use hand tools and shop equipment; lift up to 50 lbs or ¼ of body weight, whichever is less.
• Hours: Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:00pm; Hiring immediately; EOE.
