PlusAI is seeking a hands-on engineer in Sacramento, CA to lead the physical integration of components into autonomous trucks. You will collaborate with Mechanical, Mechatronics and Software teams across prototype and production stages, and actively manage issues in JIRA to completion.

The ideal candidate holds a BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in automotive or robotics, and has experience with EVs or autonomous vehicles, as well as the ability to read schematics and diagnose

5+ years in automotive or robotics environments.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

Aufgaben

Lead physical integration of components into the vehicle.
Work with mechanical, mechatronics and software engineers to bring up new platforms.
Generate and track issues in JIRA through to completion.
Perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and ongoing system troubleshooting.
Create install instructions for new builds.
Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep vehicles well maintained.
