Responsibilities

• Inspecting vehicles on arrival pads, inbound/outbound railcars.
• Identify and document vehicle damage and loading deficiencies.
• Verify VINs, railcar information, and inspection records.
• Conduct pre-unload and post-load inspections.
• Ensure vehicles are loaded, secured, and positioned correctly.
• Complete inspection reports, photographs, and documentation.
• Communicate issues to supervision.
• Maintain accurate records and support QC initiatives.
• Follow railroad safety rules and procedures.

PRS Auto is seeking a detail-oriented Vehicle Inspector to join our team at the Strawberry Yard in Louisville, KY. If you enjoy working around vehicles, have a strong eye for detail, and want to be part of a fast-paced rail and automotive operation, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do

• Inspecting vehicles on arrival pads, inbound railcars, and outbound railcars.
• Identifying and documenting vehicle damage and loading deficiencies.
• Verifying VINs, railcar information, and inspection records.
• Conducting pre-unload and post-load inspections.
• Ensuring vehicles are properly loaded, secured, and positioned.
• Completing inspection reports, photographs, and required documentation.
• Communicating damage, safety concerns, and operational deficiencies to supervision.
• Maintaining accurate records and supporting quality control initiatives.
• Following all railroad safety rules and company procedures.
