Job summary

Logistical Data Services is seeking Vehicle Inspectors in the United States, California. Paid training is provided and no prior inspection experience is required. You will inspect new vehicles, document findings, and use our software platforms while supporting major automotive and intermodal clients across North America.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to use a smartphone, tablet, or handheld device.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Pass a background check.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening, including testing for marijuana.

Responsibilities

• Inspect new vehicles for damage, defects, or discrepancies.
• Perform intermodal rework, inspections, and other operational support tasks as assigned.
• Complete basic vehicle rework and quality-related tasks when needed.
• Photograph and document findings using a handheld mobile device.
• Accurately record inspection data within company software.
• Complete reports in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow company procedures and quality standards.
• Work safely in a fast-paced vehicle processing environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members as needed.

Physical Requirements

This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the year.

• Lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally
