Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Vehicle Fluids Product Manager to lead the fluid system architecture across the Terran R vehicle. You will guide hardware design, system analysis, manufacturing, validation, and operations with deep expertise in thermofluids and first principles thinking.

You will mentor engineers, define milestones with cross-functional teams, and own the program’s fluid capabilities from concept through flight readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• 7+ years of relevant aerospace vehicle program lifecycle experience preferred.
• Strong background in fluid system architecture, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fluids product team and align with program milestones.
• Define and scope the stage-level fluid architecture and documentation for flight readiness.
• Lead cross-functional interface definitions with Propulsion/Engine, Structures, GNC, and Avionics.
• Mentor engineers and guide hardware owners to meet fluid requirements.
• Define testing scopes to reduce technical risk before vehicle-level testing.
• Participate in CONOPS development and data reviews for fluid systems.
