Gloucester Terminals LLC in Gloucester City, NJ is seeking a skilled automotive/equipment mechanic to maintain and repair fleet vehicles and equipment. You will perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics to ensure safe, reliable operation in a logistics setting.

Candidates must hold a valid TWIC card, be able to lift 50+ pounds, and have 2+ years of automotive/equipment mechanic experience or a technical school diploma; strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Inspecting and testing equipment.
• Complete preventative maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire changes, replacing filters, etc.
• Repairing engine failures.
• Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions.
• Replacing parts and components.
• Listening to and understanding operator complaints.
• Verify vehicle capability by conducting test drives, adjusting controls and systems.
• Maintain equipment records by documenting service and repairs.
• Possess a basic knowledge of parts and parts ordering.
• Advance career knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, etc.
• Upkeep vehicle appearance by cleaning and washing.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Utilize safe working practices and obey all company safety policies.
• Able to work satellite sites no further than 10 miles travel distance.
